About MM Portal

MM Portal is an independent Pakistani web portal built on a simple idea: the everyday pages people actually need — a word's meaning, today's prayer times, the gold rate, a surah, a dua, a baby name — should be accurate, fast, and honest about where their information comes from.

How we work

We write our own content. Our dictionary definitions, example sentences, translations and guides are written for this site. Where we use classical material — the Quran text, classical duas, public-domain scholarship — the source is named on the page.

We compute what can be computed. Prayer times are calculated from each city's coordinates with the published Karachi method, not copied from anyone's table.

We date what changes. Market rates are shown as dated snapshots attributed to the Sarafa association, never dressed up as a live feed we don't have.
